A Game of Destruction

Photo by Inga Seliverstova on Pexels.com

We play a

game of destruction,

of inescapable webs.

We are plugged

from inside

and outside.

Your playful glance,

my burning glare,

melt into temporality.

Our hands interlocked,

our fingers

inches apart,

our palms sealed in

ephemeral eternity,

waiting,

reaching,

yearning.

Our feet dangling,

swinging back

and forth,

above

the webs of

destruction.
