Crumbs

Crumbling within

the burnt cells

of my mind,

Can’t think.

Can’t write.

The flames roar,

searing whatever’s

left of me.

  1. This is so painfully powerful and I utterly love the captivity this holds in just a few words! The struggle with burnout is real and oddly it’s a bittersweet experience, it somehow serves as a form of validation but is terrible at the same time. This is such a real depiction and I love the style of writing!

    1. Thank you for your kind words! It is interesting that you describe Burnout as a bittersweet experience. I never thought of it that way. The desire for validation is so real πŸ˜’πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈ
